V-Day.

USA seizes control of Korea, following an increasing concern over the potential for nuclear conflict. They successfully used special forces operations to neutralise Korea's nuclear arsenal before taking control of key government institutions and financial markets.

China provided intelligence support and have used their pioneering anti-communications satellite system to disrupt military communications in the Korean and Japanese armies.

Myanmar makes deal with China for military assistance, pledging 50,000 to China's Russian campaign.

UNSC

UNSC resolution passes, condemning the nuclear escalation in the East/South china conflict with only Korea voting against.

China asserts it needs to have permanent control over Vladivostok to ensure an end to Russian meddling in Asia.

Thailand provides military assistance to Indonesia's liberation efforts in the Pacific.

Things are heating up

Australia has began to move a huge force, estimated at 300,000 into Vietnam, with their consent. They appear to be amassing at the Chinese border. Indonesia has began liberation operations in the Pacific in order to protect the native Polynesians.

The new military regime in India has started invaded Vietnam in response to aggression by the West.

The US is building a larger military presence in South Korea.

China has occupied Vladivostok, and is moving further into Russia.

The American Dream.

The Russian defectors have been granted asylum by the USA, they claim the earlier attack on Vladivostok was also orchestrated by Putin.

China has rushed its troop from North Korea and is attempting to occupy Vladivostok in responce to Russia's declaration of war.

A bomb goes off in the toilet block of the Premier of China's residence in Myanmar. Little did the perpetrator know that the Premier always takes, and uses, a portable toilet with him on state visits.

BREAKING NEWS

Australia has reinstated Conscription and have occupied many small Polynesian islands. Mass violations of cultural rights of natives has been reported.

A group of Russian commandos have fled to the US embassy in Moscow. They claim asylum and claim they had been ordered to conduct a biological attack on Russian citizens. Their loyalty had been disturbed by continuing rumours about Putin's affair with Hollande.

Unrest continues.

The Filipino President has been injured in a car bomb attack. Several of his leading generals have been killed.

...the harder they fall.

Huge anti-government protests in the Philippines as a result of the false-flag attack on the embassy in Myanmar. Several armed attacks have taken place on government officials and buildings.
Due to the promptness of the Chinese government, and their continued ability to combat 'aggression', the anti-government militias in Northern China have started to organise near areas close to the Russian border to conduct a guerrilla war in the event of a Russian invasion.

Putin denies the affair.

Allegations that closer relations between France and Russia have been the result of an affair between Francois Hollande and Vladimir Putin. Could this be true?


In less controversial news, after moves from India to attack China. The military has couped and installed a neo-fascist military led regime, that has quickly requested that Myanmar, itself and China form a new regional bloc, the 'coalition of oppressed peoples' in responce to Western meddling in their territory. The prime-minister of India has been handed to China for trial by military tribunal.

Oh dear.

North Korea has fallen. China controls a significant amount of the country however a concerted effort by South Korea and its allies resulted in their effective control of Pyongyang.

Australian marines attempted to seize a Russian naval vessel, however their attempt failed due the presence of secret, highly trained special forces on those ships.

A huge cyber attack has been coordinated against the Chinese stock exchange. Fortunately damage was limited due to the highly developed cyber defence system employed by China, however short term effects have depressed the Chinese economy. The attack initially appeared to have come from Russia, but Chinese satellites intercepted communications between South Korea, Japan and the USA that implicate those powers.

Food aid from New Zealand has stabilised the food crisis, and financial aid has been sent to Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. However the frog is still spreading...

Vietnam has removed it's ships from the South China see as an act of good faith.

The fall of East Asia?

Russia is beginning to move troops towards China, amidst international calls for diplomacy. Could this be the beginning of an invasion? No formal declaration of war has been made.

India and China have launched their satellite "Silvereye", a satellite capable of destroying communications and reconnaissance of adversarial satellites.

Meanwhile, Australia has moved a submarine into the South China sea. And the USA has made an agreement to move 200,000 into Australia from North America.

'The General' has been captured by China and his forces are dispersing. Many refugees are flooding into China adding to the high demand on food, with little recompense for supply. Chinese forces are yet to react to insurgencies in the rural areas of China and many farming villages are beginning to organise their own 'councils.' New Zealand is also giving £800m worth of aid to China. Scientific examination of the frogs shows they are a sub-species of a rare frog that can be found in Australia, however the famine is beginning to spread into Cambodia, Loas and Vietnam.

China goes rogue?

A bomb has went off in the Filipino embassy in Myanmar, killing 11 officials. The Philippines have released intelligence that China was responsible. However, a survivor, currently under the protection of Myanmar, claims that forces deployed at the embassy by the Philippines attempted to cull those who survived the initial blast.

A bomb has also went off in Vladivostok train station. The bomb at the train station killed 30 people, however there is evidence that Anthrax has been released. Russia considers that the attack to have been instigated by Chinese agents.

Meanwhile the famine in China worsens, and several small uprisings have occurred.

Other News.

Philippines begins a process of full mobilisation and raises its alert level.
Also a strange new species of frog has been spreading in China decimating crops. Human Rights watch has warned about the onset of famine in the area and some rural areas are already struggling.
Vietnam has placed 3 battle-ships in the drilling area of the South China Sea purely for defensive reasons with Chinese special forces on board.

Events at the United Nations.

A resolution went to the UNSC on military intervention in the Korean Peninsula. It would have passed unanimously had it not been vetoed by Russia.

There has also been a General Assembly resolution passed on the issue of piracy in the South China Sea Sponsored by Indonesia, South Korea, USA, Australia and New Zealand. The document is available upon request from the Chair. 

BREAKING NEWS

Kim Jong Un has been killed by a rebel group in Myanmar after being refused entry to the Summit following a remark stating that Americans are not human. His bodyguards were all killed and his Burmese escorts could not be located. North Korea has been taken by a military general who promptly released documents that implicate South Korea and Japan in the attack. 'The General', whose real name is a closely guarded secret promptly began an invasion of South Korea using a force of approximately 9.3 million people (Kim Jong Un began mobilising the reserves before his death).

Additionally the President of Taiwan has been invited to the Summit by Myanmar, due to fears that Filipino and Malaysian  oil drilling threatens their own claims in the region.

Breaking news.

The USA announces a Summit to discuss a transpacific partnership, free trade agreement, to take place in the following days. I invite Australia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, New Zealand, Philippines and Indonesia.

Both the Philipino and Malaysian oil contractors have began drilling in disputed territories in the South China Sea. China remains strangely quiet...

The information age.

China and India have signed a mutual research development agreement in space technology and satellite capability and defence. The details of the project are unknown.

Al Jazeera: Nigerian intervention?

Nigeria openly condemns the Republic of Korea. It seems in a diplomatic meeting between the Korean ambassador and the Nigerian foreign minister it was suggested that Nigeria give military support for a South Korean invasion of the DPRK and even China! Nigeria feel they weren't the only State to be approached...

Japan formally apologises for atrocities in WWII. South Korea has used this opportunity to seek new economic and political ties with Japan.

Oh no!

South Korean leader pulls out of talks with Russia and North Korea over fears for his safety.

China on the defensive.

Chinese State Media has announced that intelligence has intercepted messages that the USA is supplying 'aggressive arms' such as B-2 bombers to Australia and New Zealand. In response to this China and Russia have conducted a joint annual naval exercise.

Rush for oil!

Philippines awards a drilling contract for the Scarborough Shoal and Spratley islands to Exxon Mobil, a US firm. Drilling is to begin in the near future.

Peace in Korea?

Russian embassy is hosting a meal between South and North Korean leaders.

Philippines.

The government of the Philippines has announced a zero-tolerance policy on breaches on their sovereignty in response to the clash with a Chinese rogue vessel.

Chinese State TV announces that they have unveiled the CY-4 missile system. Used primarily for anti-submarine warfare and can be launched from various naval vessels and coastal vehicles.

Reuters: Rising tensions darken Summit.

Following a clash between a rogue Chinese naval vessel and a Philipino counterpart, the East Asian Summit has become particularly heated. In recognition of these tensions the Chinese naval crew have been imprisoned for insubordination, and the USA appears to be preparing to reinforc its naval presence in East Asia.

Summit begins.

President Thein Sein of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar greets world leaders as they arrive ahead of the 2014 East Asian Summit. The main focus of deliberation at this year's Summit is finding a way to peacefully resolve territorial disputes in the East and South China Seas with a vision for regression of hostility between nations.
